Results are up for the 2011 Edition of the Bow 80 (ish) . This year’s course was mix of old trails around Sulfer Springs and some new ones with over 6000 ft of climbing (overheard from a racer with a GPS). On a scale of 1-10, I’d say this race goes to 11. It was a hard day. Congrats to all the racers and a huge thanks to the team at Bow Cycle and their volunteers for putting this event on.

Just to clarify – I am riding as an Independent; not with Cyclemeisters/Bow Cycle….I am honored to be named as a rider for these Clubs, or Club, but I have to be honest….Anyway, with that trail with all that climbing, and with that slow leak front tire, finally stopped to get a new tube…imagine stopping every five minutes along that gravel road pumping more air into it…I must have looked silly, or insane…I was just frustrated…I had a good ride going – 2.5 hrs to the the first feed station…alas, I probably lost half hour ; maybe even more that due to later muscle attrition… cold as it was to get going again…what a course! Have to enter next year…shooting for 6 hrs…
